About Us
Built By A Truck Driver Who Lives These Problems Every Day
Dock Navigator wasn't dreamed up in a boardroom. It was built by a truck driver who works in the trenches
every single day.
My name is Ryan Kaiser, and I spend my days delivering and picking up freight at facilities across the
Midwest. Like thousands of drivers, I've experienced the frustration of arriving at a facility and not
knowing which entrance to use, where to check in, where the shipping and receiving office is located, or
what procedures need to be followed. That uncertainty creates anxiety, stress, wasted time, and frustration
before the loading or unloading process even begins.
At the same time, I've watched shipping and receiving personnel deal with the other side of the problem.
Drivers arrive confused, trucks end up in the wrong location, dock schedules get disrupted, and facility
staff are forced to spend valuable time helping drivers figure out where they need to be instead of focusing
on their own responsibilities.
After countless conversations with truck drivers, shipping clerks, receivers, warehouse employees,
dispatchers, and facility managers, I realized the same frustrations were being experienced by both sides of
the loading dock. So we built a simple solution!
